I'm Heather Delaney Reese, a family travel writer turned political truth teller. For over a decade, I built a blog that reached millions while working with some of the world's largest and most respected brands (you can see my work at: itsalovelylife.com). My job was to listen, observe, and communicate clearly and effectively. That's still what I do, but my writing is no longer about travel; it’s about our survival.
Like so many of you, I hit my limit with the lies, chaos, and cowardice coming out of our government. I realized I had a choice: stay silent while democracy slips, or use the platform I built to document the truth of what is happening in this pivotal moment for the United States.
Because what we're living through is either the fall of a great nation or a comeback story we will be proud to tell our grandchildren we were a part of.
I'm here to help write the second one.
For years, millions followed along as my family traveled more than 150 days a year, seeing America and the world up close. I met people from across the political spectrum. I saw what connects us and what's tearing us apart. And I saw how deeply everyday people are being misled, manipulated, and left behind by extremists and opportunists in power.
So now I write daily, with a clear, direct, unfiltered voice about the America I love and how we can fight to save her.
I break down the news, call out dangerous misinformation, and expose how disinformation spreads and why it matters to families like ours, our wallets, and our futures. I say what we're all thinking, but are too tired or too overwhelmed to say out loud.
