There's something seriously wrong with this President
In the East Room of the White House, the President of the United States stood before Navy midshipmen who had come to celebrate their championship season and turned their ceremony into a 36-minute war rally. He quickly got past their names, past their accomplishments, and opened with “we’re doing extremely well in Iran.” He bragged about destroying Iran’s navy, joked about keeping their ships, praised the FCC chairman for going after the media, and then asked his former White House physician whether he was healthier than the elite athletes standing behind him. The doctor said, “Yes.” Then Trump looked at the room and said, “I have much more power in my second term, don’t you think?” He said that to young men who are about to swear an oath to protect the Constitution.
At the Pentagon, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth told the press that the families of fallen service members told him to “finish the job.” But Charles Simmons, the father of Tech. Sgt. Tyler Simmons, one of six crew members killed when their refueling plane crashed in Iraq, told NBC News, “No, I didn’t say anything along those lines.” What he actually said to Hegseth was, “I certainly hope the decisions being made are necessary.” Hegseth took a grieving father’s quiet dignity and turned it into a slogan.
And then Trump began writing his exit. He posted on Truth Social that the U.S. is “getting very close to meeting our objectives” and that the Strait of Hormuz “will have to be guarded by other Nations.” He called those allies “cowards” in a separate post. Gas has surged nearly a dollar a gallon. His approval on cost-of-living has cratered to 29%. He called the war “a little journey,” and then flew to Mar-a-Lago for the weekend. Cuba is already being teed up as the next target. And the World Health Organization announced it is planning for the possibility of nuclear fallout from this war.

I’ll now be sharing video versions of my nightly posts in addition to the written ones. We are living through a pivotal moment for our country, and my goal is to reach as many people as possible with clear, factual information about what is happening. The more people who understand what is unfolding, the better chance we have to push back against chaos, cruelty, and corruption ahead of the midterms.
Thank you for your continued support. Your paid subscriptions have enabled me to add a video editor and get the message out to more people.
Independent journalism is under attack. You can make a difference with a $5/month paid subscription. Your support allows me to keep telling the truth about the lies and destruction unfolding in our country, defend myself from constant pressure from MAGA extremists, and ultimately spread the message to more people.
I’m fighting to save our country (before it’s too late).
I’ll see you tomorrow,
Heather

There's been something seriously wrong with this president . . . since childhood . . . emotionally maimed as a kid with a cruel sociopath daddy and an acutely depressed emotionally absent mother, his entire life has been a desperate cry of "Hey! Daddy? Mommy! Look at me! I'm very rich! I'm very famous! I'm the most powerful man on earth! I'm president! Am I good enough? Am I good enough yet? Can you love me now?"

Daddy and mommy are long gone so he has to look to everyone else to satisfy his insatiable greed, lust, need, for more money, more power, and the imaginary love of adoring crowds donors and sycophants who can never begin to give him 1% of 1% of the love he never got from mommy and daddy.
